Course Overview

Duration: 3 day Outline

The individuals attending the course will range from
new/inexperienced workers to experienced workers from the Maritime and Oil and
Gas industries. This training provides the skills and knowledge required by seafarers
to prevent and respond to fires on board a vessel. This applies to seafarers
working in the maritime industry requiring a certificate of training.

Who should attend 

Required for new entrants, seafarers and ships personnel re-validating
certificates when joining their ships.

What you will learn

The
learning outcomes include the ability to:

 · Minimize the risk of fire and
maintain a state of readiness to respond to emergency situations involving fire.

· Fight and extinguish fires.

· Prevent and fight fires on board a vessel are:

Day 1 Theory

·  Search and Rescue techniques

·  Extinguish small and extensive fires using various mediums
