Description
This awareness course will give participants an understanding of the
risks involved when entering and working in confined spaces and how to manage
them. The purpose of this training is to substantially reduce the risk of a
confined space incident at your workplace, and to ensure that your workplace
has adequate confined space safety procedures. This course is not suitable for
persons requiring an accredited training outcome to enter and work in confined
spaces.
Outcomes
Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded with a
Certificate of Completion. A Certificate of Completion should not be mistaken
for a Statement of Attainment. This course will provide a solid understanding
of the knowledge and principles of confined space and risks requirements.
Who should attend
This course is suitable for persons who are not required to enter
and work in confined spaces, but need to develop an awareness of the risks and
safety implications, e.g. employers, managers, committee members,
administrators, etc.
