Course Description:
Governmental revenue and resources allocation is, by
nature, generally tricky, even when zero politicking is assumed. Realistically,
except there are well thought-out processes, robust tool and knowledgeable people
in place, it can be a messy and frustrating exercise to allocate
governmental revenues and resources to counties within its purview.
Revenue allocation strategy is a plan of action
designed to consistently achieve an equitable revenue sharing formula.
Consequently, it requires relentless
planning, organizing, monitoring, analysis and appraisal of what the government
requires to allocate its revenues without any form of favoritism.
This course analyzes revenue allocation programs in
general, assesses existing processes, zeroes in on capability as potential users of a given allocation tool are trained
in the effective and efficient use of the tool.

one-and-a-half weeks of classroom learning, instructors and the attendees will
zero in on the use of a given Revenue and Resources modeling and allocation tool
for one-and-a-half weeks, thus exposing participants to hands-on, real life
workplace scenarios with the immediate opportunities to practice what was
