This course is aimed at providing candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake work at heights safely and competently, covering selection, inspection and safe use of equipment, risk management, and requirements of relevant International Standards, company procedures and legislation. This course is aimed to helping participants to apply these and other safe work practices.
Who should attend
This course is recommended for those working in Civil Construction, Coal Mining, Drilling, Extractive Industries, Metalliferous Mining, or Infrastructure, and will be required to spend a great deal of time as a sentry or stand-by working at heights; whether on scaffolding, EWP or large equipment. This standard training will enhance the safety competency of all personnel in the industry whilst driving consistency and cost-efficiency.
